Custom Build Terms

Custom conversions and container-based spaces supplied by African Containers Hub Pty Ltd are project-based work. ACH is not VAT registered at this time.

Scope

Custom projects may include container selection, modifications, insulation, lining, electrical, plumbing, doors, windows, fittings, finishes, branding, delivery and related work. The final quotation and approved specification define what is included.

Approval

Before production, ACH may require customer approval of the final specification, quotation, payment condition and delivery assumptions. Customers should check dimensions, layout, finishes, services and exclusions carefully.

Changes

Changes after approval may affect price, materials, production timing and delivery. ACH may issue a revised quotation before implementing a change.

Deposits and payment

Where a deposit is required, the quotation will state the amount and payment conditions. Production should not be treated as confirmed until the required approval and payment conditions are satisfied.

Cancellation

Custom projects may involve committed materials, third-party costs, labour and fabrication. Cancellation after procurement or production may result in lawfully recoverable costs, subject to the quotation and applicable South African law.

Delivery

Custom-build delivery is site-specific and may require a separate delivery assessment. Foundations, civil works, permits, crane hire and permanent installation are excluded unless expressly included.

Customer responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate project and site information and obtain permissions required for the intended use. ACH does not represent that a container purchase automatically provides municipal or other approvals.
