Services & Upgrades

AFRICAN CONTAINERS HUB · SERVICE & UPGRADES

Keep it original. Make it better.

Choose the programme that matches the job. Service & Maintain keeps an existing container sound and serviceable. Upgrade & Fit Out changes what the container does.

Not sure? Choose Service if you are maintaining/restoring the container without changing its fundamental purpose. Choose Upgrade if the finished container becomes a new purpose-built space.
ACH CONTAINER CONVERSION KNOWLEDGE

From a standard shipping container to a purpose-built space.

We have been customising and personalising shipping containers for a long time. That experience means we can help with both straightforward accessories and more involved modifications, while keeping the Service & Maintain and Upgrade & Fit Out programmes separate.

Specialist & ready-made modified containers

Some ACH-ready solutions can already include insulation, air-conditioning, lighting, power, toilets, showers, kitchens or other fit-out elements. If an existing standard solution already meets the requirement, there may be no need to add further work.

Accessory-led customisation

Common requests include extra windows and doors, paint, branding, shelving, flooring, workbenches, desks, security, ventilation and room divisions. Upgrade & Fit Out lets the customer specify these components and the intended use.

Completely customised special projects

For unusual layouts, multi-container projects or a conversion that needs a design beyond the standard catalogue, choose the special-project path and describe the required rooms, equipment, clearances, utilities and openings. ACH can then scope the engineering, materials, labour and site requirements.

Common accessory families

Security lock boxes, whirlybirds and vents; custom paint and signage; single and double cargo doors; personnel and bulkhead doors; roller doors; standard, shuttered and security windows; shelving and workbenches; fixed desks and bulkheads; electrical and data fit-outs; air-conditioning; kitchenettes and hot water; ensuites; insulation and vinyl/specialty flooring; ramps; gantry systems; and CSC requirements.

Planning matters. Container size, internal clearances, door openings, external access, future equipment and the intended use all affect the correct specification. Final fabrication, structural changes, electrical/plumbing work, compliance and site requirements remain subject to ACH assessment and the final quotation.
