Shipping & Delivery

Shipping & Delivery

African Containers Hub Pty Ltd uses a site-based delivery model. Container delivery is quoted according to destination, route, access, container size and quantity, positioning method and offloading requirements.

Delivery process

Requirement → site information → route/access assessment → delivery quotation → customer approval → payment/order confirmation → scheduling → dispatch → delivery/offloading → handover.

What affects delivery

  • location and distance;
  • road and route conditions;
  • gate width and turning space;
  • overhead clearance;
  • ground conditions and slope;
  • vehicle requirements;
  • crane or specialised offloading;
  • site restrictions and scheduling.

Important exclusions

Unless expressly included in the quotation, delivery does not automatically include foundations, civil works, permits, crane hire, specialised lifting, obstacle removal, utility connections or permanent installation.

Customer responsibility

Customers must provide accurate site information and obtain permissions required for delivery to the site. ACH may reschedule or refuse unsafe delivery.

Scheduling and delays

Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Weather, traffic, road closures, vehicle availability, crane availability, production, supplier delays and site conditions can affect timing. ACH will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays.

Damage and handover

Customers should inspect the container as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and report visible delivery damage promptly with photographs.
